Pool Opening Instructions:

We would like to remind you that we have a Pool Opening coming up.   This is considered an all-day appointment, so we do not give out times, so our techs can be there anytime between 7AM and dark. We also would like to remind you to have a few things ready for our Service Technicians on the day of your opening:

  • Please make sure the cover is clear of debris and water before our techs arrive. If not, they will be unable to open the pool and we’ll have to reschedule. If a rescheduled appointment is possible, there will be an additional labor charge. Due to the high demand of Pool Openings, it is likely that we may not have another date available. 

  • Typically pools with mesh covers open green with algae. These pools will require up to a week of daily cleaning, chemicals, and backwashing by the homeowner(s) before they become clear. 

  • Also make sure you leave out all Plugs, Return Eyes, Skimmer baskets, Ladders and Handrails and a Bag or Barrel for storing your cover so we can put it away.

  • Leave your garden hose accessible so we can clean off the deck.

  • Our Technicians do not need you to be there; they do need you however, to make sure that the gate/door to the pool is left open.

  • And to protect your furry family members, please keep your pets inside on the day of your opening, so they are safe as well our Techs. 


For your convenience, please let us know if you would like our technicians to bring out any chemicals or supplies that you may need for summer. We can leave them there and include them on the bill for the Pool opening.
